Note to self… starting ‘bloggin again! I’ve come to realize during my long hiatus from this daily diary that entries do not need to be epic in order to be informative. So it is my quest to now inform regularly and to eschew the glamour of it all. The housing market nationwide has crawled to a standstill. The National Association of Home Builders (http://www.nahb.org/) president stated flatly that a soft landing for the real estate market is “no longer in the cards.” But this is a good thing for those of us amongst the proletariat. Over the next few months, there will be loads of good deals, and an overabundance of overextended sellers. Save your investment dollars, and keep your eyes wide open in the coming days. The areas of extreme interest in southwest Volusia will be south DeLand (especially new construction) and eastern Lake County for both residential and commercial endeavors. More to follow as events unfold. Call or shoot me an email with questions or comments. This could get interesting!
