Friday, November 12, 2004It just occured to me while watching the media frenzy on the tube that Scott Peterson killed his son at a stage where "viability" was beyond debatable, it was inevitible. Forget the fact that he did what he did to her... he did what he did to them. Please spare trying to convince me that he hasn't earned a needle. All in all, a pretty grim week for thugs, monsters and terrorists. Scott's getting fitted for a bumpy ride, Yasser is taking a much deserved dirt nap, and the mujahadeen are getting stacked like cord wood in Fallujah. Oh, and my candidate has crested the 60 million nationwide vote mark. Dubya's career will be marked by the fact that his harshest critics and sworn ideological enemies did most indeed misunderestimate him. Four more years, baby... four more years. If there was ever a time to purchase anything real estate-related in Southwest Volusia County, it's now. The appreciation in real property in and around the DeLand/Lake Helen corridor has been borderline laughable. A spot of intense interest is a luxury townhome community across from the DeLand Country Club which is being presold as we speak. A no-brainer, in my humble opinion. The boy is growing so fast, and becoming so engaged, that it's starting to intimidate me. Laura is fine with it, but sometimes I look at Ryan and think "Good grief! That child looks to ME for guidance." Whew, too much to think about at this hour. More to follow... now, I really mean that! my mood just went from fantastic to psychotic in one mouse click.
You guessed it! One in the flippin' morning, and I've slogged over this for three hours... an inadvertent double click and there goes the post. Here are some pix of the boy. He's just shy of nine months old and tipped the scales at 14 lbs., 12 oz. last week. He's a miracle, and his happiness is infectious. I'm glad he's asleep, because the expletives are flying from the computer snafu. Enjoy the shots. I've got to go climb a tower now. all smiles big room concentration more concentration dynomite! endless blues have some carrots for the grandparents in daddy's arms mom and baby boy nitecap our future backyard say what? something on my face too big for this bassinet and from his first Halloween, in a handmade outfit by my lovely wife, whose birthday was November 9th: li'l sheriff ryan's a cowboy!
