My maiden blog, how exciting! Less so now after a shutdown caused this rewrite, but hey....I'm not one to believe that this endeavor is born under a bad sign.

I'll fill you in as we go, for DeLand is quite the center of the real estate universe. Just remember these essentials....25 minutes to "feet wet" on Daytona Beach, 35 minutes (depending on the melee that is I-4) to the outskirts of Disney, and a cozy downtown leading to Stetson University. This is our li'l slice of heaven. Grab a chunk whilst you can.

Speaking of prime "chunks" to grab, I just presented a beaut to the market. Four beds, 2.5 baths, 2660 square feet under air, on 2.5 level landscaped acres. Great locale, too....minutes from anything you need, without sacrificing the feel of a "gentleman's farm." Asking price is $259,900 and the owners are pumped to sell. It's only 8 years old, block and stucco. I'll post a link later to further tickle your buying bone.

So long for the day, as a PGA touring pro/friend has stopped by for a few days and we'll be pegging it at Rock Spring Ridge!
